WE REMEMBER

The day that no one can forget, the day no one wants to remember. Sept 11 2001, where were you on this tragic day? What were you doing, who were you talking to when our freedom came under fire? Did your heart stop, did you cry, did you get mad or all these things rolled into one. Or is the day just a blur?

In these 6 years what have we learned...this I am not sure of... but I do know that I can speak for myself and my family that we are proud to be Americans and we love this country! We thank God for this great land He has given us. No matter what your political views are we all should take time today and stop and thank those who are trying to keep us safe and those who gave their lives keeping us safe. They are American Heros and we should thank everyone of them.

So on this day put aside all the politics and disagreements and let us come together as the great nation we are and stand as One Country United. This is the very least we could do for the memory of those who died on this day 6 years ago.

I urge you to take a moment of silence and remember, reflect but never forget.

God Bless America!

I was driving to work and heard an announcement that all air traffic was grounded. I turned up the radio to hear what was going on. When I got to my office, I turned on the TV in the conference room and was shocked at what I saw. It was a day I will never forget.

I was driving to uni when I heard over the radio that New York was under attack - it seemed so unreal..as the news unfolded over the coming days, I remember watching the images of the planes going into the Twin Towers and hearing the recorded phone messages of people in offices and on the plane saying goodbye to loved ones... it was unbearable and heartbreaking and the world was suddenly a different place. But out of the horror of seeing what some people can inflict on others, came also the uplifting realisation that there is so much good in the world - people rallied together, people helped, people donated, people joined together in prayer...
