HE'S BAAACCCCKKKK!

If you ask me what the best sound in the world is I have to say it's my baby granddaughter Adriana's sweet laugh....but coming in second is the wonderful soft sound of "our" male bluebird (we named)Rambo!

I was just outside and something caught my attention...it was the song of spring...high atop the tree, letting me know he is back and ready for some grub...the live yucky kind. As I dig in the dirt planting my garden I find grubs for him and lay them on the ground and he will come and snatch them up with me standing right there!
Although it will be some time before that happens(my garden is still buried under 8 inches of snow!)he will make his presences know by his soft song and the sun dancing off his sapphire blue feathers.

One of natures most beautiful creations hands down!

You can see more of Rambo at my son's wonderful website MATT BANGO PHOTOGRAPHY or in his Etsy shop.

So spring is REALLY here! Rambo just told me so :)

Beautiful shot! What mm lens did you use?

We had wonder spring like weather today, so yes, I think Rambo is right. Spring is here!!

Followed you from Pampering Beki.

Blessings!

What a beautiful photo! I love the little ruffled head--gives him real personality. Our only blue birds here are jays, and they were wiped out several years ago by bird flu but are starting to make a comeback.

I heard my cardinals this morning! I LOVE spring. It's such an uplifting time. No wonder I'm so jazzed up these days!

I am SO happy to hear that. What a happy harbinger!
And you're right -what would the world be without birdsongs and babies' laughter?
Happy spring to you and yours (and Rambo and his!)

Great photograph! I'd kill to only have 8 inches of snow left. Right now, it's more like 36 inches left!
